April 17, 2012 – Thirty-eight girls and boys will walk the runway on May 2 in the annual Children’s Cancer Fund Luncheon and Fashion Show. Clarice Tinsley of Fox 4 News follows one of the children as she shops for the dress she will model, and then keep courtesy of Dillard’s.
The CCBD at Children's Medical Center is part of the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in North Texas and provides diagnostic and treatment services to approximately 1,200 new patients each year.
Children's ACE Program (After the Cancer Experience) provides survivors of childhood cancers with a medical care bridge from childhood to adult life. The ACE program was started in 1989 at Children's and is the oldest comprehensive cancer survivor program in North Texas.
